This lovely clock has a turquoise base with alternating turquoise and peacock blue iridized squares pattern to the front. Iridized glass is “normal” glass that has a thin, metallic coating on the surface which adds a shine and a sparkle. The variation in the colours on the clock is simply where on the sheet of glass the squares are cut and the orientation in which they are laid down on the base glass. This clock has gold coloured hour, minute and second hands and measures approximately 20cm X 20cm (22.5cm high when mounted in the stand) It is presented in an oak stand measuring 15cm X 7cm X 2cm (included) and requires 1x AA battery (supplied). 
 
Inspiration: I came across an outdoor chess board whilst on holiday and as I looked up and beyond it, the sea was in the distance shimmering in beautiful aqua and turquoise colours and I thought it would make a beautiful clock combining the squares of the chess board with the colours of the sea.
