This vibrant handmade fused glass rainbow arch reflects all the colours of the rainbow as the light passes through. Red, orange, yellow, green blue violet and purple make up the seven colours used to create this magical piece, which can also be laid on its side and be used as a tea light shield, or simply as an ornament to bring joy to your home or workspace.
 
I create the rainbows myself, by cutting strips of glass and then capping the strips with a rectangle of clear glass. The piece is placed in a kiln and fused to approx. 804 degrees C and then cooled, before heating again over a mould to achieve the final shape. The photos here show stages of the creation process. Please note, as the items are hand crafted the sizes shown may vary very slightly.
